Pretty 'n' Pink. Funds were raised from the Annual Ladies Gaelic Football Match held at the club on Christmas Eve.

Girls Brigade
Girls Brigade Body Combat & Buns. 
Well done to The Girls Brigade, 234th COY who organised a pink 'Body Combat & Buns' event. After an intense workout, with everyone dressed in pink, girls were treated to pink cupcakes and pink buns . 
Proceeds of the night raised £420 in total for the charity. 
Larne High School
Larne High School Fundraising 2011. 
Year 14 Event Management pupils from Larne High School decided to use the practical projects they were required to undertake as part of their course in order to support Pretty 'n' Pink.  
Students organised a 'Dress in Pink' day, a disco, a cake sale, and a formal, with proceeds from the events raising a fantastic total of £1136 for the charity. 
Gala Ball 2011
Pretty 'n' Pink Swinging Holywood Gala Ball 2011. 
Pretty 'n' Pink marked the start of breast cancer awareness month by hosting a glittering Holywood Swing themed Gala Ball at The Hilton Hotel Belfast on Saturday 1st October. 
The evening was a tremendous success with over £10,000 raised for the charity.

DSD Christmas Fair
DSD Christmas Fair
Civil Service Christmas Fair. 
The Civil Service Department of Social Development, based at James House Belfast held their annual Christmas Fair at the beginning of December, and this year used it to support Pretty 'n' Pink, the Northern Ireland Hospice, and Tiny Life. Staff brought a range of good including Christmas Pudding, home baked breads, cupcakes to sell from exhibition stalls which also included jewellery, Christmas Cards, and much more. A range of luxury hampers were also prepared, with all contents of the hampers having been donated by staff.  
Overall proceeds from the day totalled £366.41 for Pretty 'n' Pink. 
The Big Pink Workout
The Big Pink Workout. 
Bringing together a host of exercise instructors, 'The Big Pink Workout' comprised a two hour exercise class which included Zumba, Dance, Aerobics, and Cardio Kick. Approximately 200 people took part in the class to support the charity as well as take part in a throughly enjoyable and exhilerating session. The Big Pink Workout raised a fantastic total of £1480.40 for Pretty 'n' Pink. 
Dunnes Stores Park Centre
Dunnes Stores Park Centre, 'Wear it Pink' Day. 
Pretty 'n' Pink was delighted to be supported for the second consecutive year by Dunnes Stores, Park Centre, Belfast who fundraised for the charity during the month of October by holding a 'Wear it Pink' day in store. Checkout staff surprised shoppers by dressing in a range of pink outfits throughout the day, which proved to be very popular with customers. 
Overall proceeds totalled £1285 for Pretty 'n' Pink. 
Kitchen Trade Awards 2011
Irelands Kitchen Trade Awards 2011. 
The second annual Ireland's Kitchen Trade Awards took place this year at a Gala Ceremony at The Hilton, Belfast, hosted by Julian Simmons. Encompassing all kitchen retailers, suppliers, and manufacturers, the event is an opportunity for leaders in the industry nationwide to come together to celebrate the industry. Pretty 'n' Pink was delighted to be chosen as the nominated charity of the awards for the second year in a row, with proceeds from the grand ballot and donations on the night totalling £1300. 
Sharon Foster
Coffee Morning. 
While on the road to recovery from breast cancer, Sharon Foster decided to organise a coffee morning to help other patients. With help from family, friends, and neighbours who came out to support Sharon and show their generosity for the charity, Sharon's coffee morning was an immense success with £1070 raised on the day. 
BPW NI (Business and Professional Women) Pamper Party. 
BPW NI (Business and Professional Women) recently held a pamper party at The Dunsilly Hotel Antrim to raise funds for both the organisation and for Pretty 'n' Pink. Guests had a range of exhibition stalls to choose from including jewellery, scarves, handbags, handmade soaps and candles, homemade cupcakes, chocolates, and much more. Give Inc and the Rotary Club also contributed to the grand total of £600 for Pretty 'n' Pink.  
Antrim Golf Club
Antrim Golf Club donate £1500 to Pretty n Pink. 
Pretty 'n' Pink have received a generous donation of £1500 from Antrim Golf Club at Allen Park. The funds were donated from both the lady and gentlemen members, from ongoing fundraising throughout the year. 
Pretty 'n' Pink benefits from Council staff charity sale. 
Newry and Mourne District Council made a donation of £340 to Pretty 'n' Pink. The money was raised from a staff sale, organised by the Council's environmental management team, which was held at the Council's offices during European Week of Waste Reduction. Staff from all sections of the Council donated cd's, dvd's, and books in an effort to reuse old items and reduce waste while raising vital funds for charity at the same time. 
Women of Clonduff
Women of Clonduff
Women of Clonduff Ladies Night Out 
Women of Clonduff was set up to bring together ladies of all ages from the Clonduff and South Down area for social events. During October 2011 the group organised a 'Ladies Night Out' fundraiser to help raise awareness of and funds for cancer charities. Hosted throughout by Nuala McKeever, the evening consisted of drinks and nibbles upon arrival, a Catwalk Fashion Show taking in the latest seasons trends from local boutiques, designer, and high street fashion. Other events of the night included Irish Dancers, and music from the 60's, 70's, and 80's. The event was a great success with £5100 raised in total split between Pretty n Pink, Angels of Hope, and The Eve Appeal. 
Dragon Boat
Cancer Centre Staff go 'Pretty n Pink' 
A team of 17 support workers from the Cancer Centre at Belfast City Hospital, who work closely with Pretty n Pink took part in a sponsored Dragon Boat Race. The Dragon Boat Regatta took place at Dublin's Canal Dock and consisted of three separate heats over the course of a full day. To add a fun element to the event, female staff dressed as the Pink Ladies and the only male member of the group as a T-Bird. Overall proceeds totalled £1055 for Pretty n Pink. 
Katie Larmour at House of Fraser
Ladies Beauty Gala Evening at House of Fraser Belfast 
House of Fraser, Victoria Centre, Belfast hosted a Ladies Beauty Gala Evening to raise awareness of breast cancer in the aftermath of October, and to raise funds for the charity. 
Events of the evening included champagne, wine and cupcakes, a goody bag for each guest, while guests had the chance to browse the beauty counters and take advantage of the many complimentary treatments on offer.

Belfast Fashionweek
West Coast Cooler Belfast Fashionweek Autumn/Winter 2011 
We were delighted to have been chosen by West Coast Cooler Belfast Fashionweek organiser CMPR as the nominated charity for the catwalk shows Autumn / Winter 2011, for the third season in a row.  
Held at the Europa Hotel, Fashionweek runs over the course of 4 nights and is the highlight of the fashion industry in Northern Ireland, showcasing the latest trends from boutiques, high street retailers, and up and coming designers. We are thrilled to be the charity partner for the shows, and look forward to next season.  
Our Lady of Mercy
Our Lady of Mercy Girls School Fundraising 
We were asked to give a presentation to Year 11 girls from Our Lady of Mercy on breast cancer awareness and the work of the charity. Following on from this, the girls decided that they wanted to fundraise for Pretty n Pink by selling pink ribbons, wearing pink accessories, and organising a coffee morning including pink cupcakes that they baked themselves. We were very grateful to receive a cheque for £150 from them. 
St Louise's
St Louise's Class of '81 Reunion 
St Louise's Class of '81 recently held their school reunion at The Balmoral Hotel. The ladies decided to use the reunion as a fundraiser for breast cancer in memory of their year head teacher Miss Mooreland who sadly lost her battle to the illness, and also in memory and support of family members and friends. Overall proceeds from the night totalled £890 for Pretty 'n' Pink, including a donation of £280 from Irish Dance shop 'Celtic Creations' whose owner is a past pupil of the school. 
Lisnagarvey High School
Lisnagarvey High School Fashion & Beauty Show 
Teachers, pupils, and members of the parent teachers association at Lisnagarvey High School joined forces to organise the schools first major fashion and beauty event, in aid of Pretty 'n' Pink, and Asthma UK. Local fashion and beauty professionals provided fashion and beauty accessories, and hair and make-up for the main show, whilst other local beauty and crafters exhibited for guests. 
Overall proceeds from the night totalled £3000 which was split between the two charities. 
Unislim Goes Pink 
We were delighted to be supported by Unislim clubs across Northern Ireland, who went pink for breast cancer awareness month by donating £1 for every new member who joined during October to Pretty n Pink. Overall donations totalled £300 for the charity. 
Julie Massey Fundraising. 
After being diagnosed with breast cancer at the age of 31 while pregnant with her fourth child, and having fought the illness, Julie Massey decided to raise funds for patients and help raise awareness of the illness. Funds were raised from a 'Ladies Night' at The Dry Spout in Ballywalter, including a raffle, and also from a street collection in the town. Overall proceeds totalled £1550.50 each for Pretty 'n' Pink and for Action Cancer. 
Millside Restaurant
Pink Feast at the Millside Restaurant 
Millside Restaurant, Cloughmills raised £550 for Pretty n Pink through 'Ladies Nights' held at the restaurant Monday - Thursdays. Guests were treated to a delicious meal from a set menu, a bottle of pink champagne per table and a goody bag for each diner. A donation was then made from each guest to the charity. 
Rotary Club of Larne
Rotary Club of Larne Fundraising Dinner Party 
The Rotary Club of Larne made a donation of £750 to Pretty n Pink. The funds were raised at a dinner party held at the home of club members Ian and Heather, who with help from the other members prepared a delicious meal for guests with dancing carrying into the night by live music from Esler Burke. 
Claremount Cycle
Claremount Chartered Accountants Omagh to Derry Cycle 
Claremount Chartered Accountants took part in a sponsored cycle between the firms Omagh and Derry offices (35 miles in total), organised by Edel McCaffrey who is employed at the firms Omagh branch. 
The cycle raised a fantastic total of £5257.50.

Bombardier Shorts
Bombardier Shorts Fundraising. 
Staff from Shorts Bombardier Dunmurry depot decided to raise funds for breast cancer patients in support of a colleague who was diagnosed. A fantastic total of £1045 was donated to Pretty 'n' Pink from proceeds of a raffle organised by staff at the depot. 
Zumba 2011
Comber Leisure Centre played host to over 140 participants who came out into the sunshine of the leisure centre's outdoor astro pitch to take part in the new latin dance exercise craze which raised over £1100 for Pretty n Pink.  
Thank You Night 2011
Pretty n Pink 'Thank You' Night 2011 
Pretty n Pink held a 'thank you' night in June 2011, at Muriels Cafe Bar Belfast. The event provided the charity with an opportunity to offer a warm and heart felt thank you to the many who have helped raise vital funds for Pretty n Pink in 2011. 
'Highly Strung' Album Launch supporting Pretty n Pink 
Tommy Hopkins, guitarist with The Indian Showband, launched his solo CD, 'Highly Strung' at The Bushtown Hotel in Coleraine in June 2011. Supporting entertainment on the night was provided by local band Starlite, current Indian Chief, and star of Glor tire Natasha Magee, and further special guests. 
Proceeds from sales of raffle tickets were donated to Pretty n Pink, with £1500 being raised from the event. 
The Big Lunch Fun Day at Magheramourne 
The Big Lunch is a programme from the Eden Project which attempts to bring together friends and neighbours to share lunch in show of community spirit. 
Local woman Natasha, held a Big Lunch Fun Day at Blue Circle Boat Club Magheramourne, which was linked with a Big Lunch her sister was holding in Austrailia. 
The Fun Day was used to support Pretty n Pink with over £546 raised on the day. Further information on the Big Lunch 2011, and how to host a Big Lunch in 2012 here. 
Ladies who Lunch 
The annual classic ladies lunch event, organised by Eileen McGloin, took place once again at The Europa Hotel, Belfast, in May 2011, this year supporting Pretty n Pink, the Alzhiemers Society Ireland, and Alzhiemers Northern Ireland. 
Guests were treated to a welcome drink upon arrival, a delicious two course lunch, with entertainment consisting of a gospel choir, dinner music, bingo, make up masterclass by Marcus Hunter Neill, raffle, auction, best dressed lady prize, goody bag for each guest, and a fabulous fashion show by Designers at Debanhams. 
A wonderful time was had by all ladies who lunched with us, and proceeds from the event reached over £8000 for they benefitting charities. 
Belfast City Marathon 2011 
Pretty n Pink reigned supreme at the 2011 Deep River Rock Belfast City Marathon, with over 200 participants coming onto the streets of Belfast to take part in all events including the full marathon run, full marathon walk, half marathon run, nine mile walk, relay race, and fun run.  
With donations still pouring in this year promises to be the most promising yet. 
Rosie Griffen coffee morning
Coffee Morning 
Breast cancer survivor Rosie Griffen held a coffee morning at the family home near Cookstown. The event was used to mark the end of her treatment for breast cancer, and also to raise funds for both Pretty n Pink, and Charis Cancer Care. Family, friends, and neighbours came out to show support to the Griffen family and raised a wonderful amount for both charities. 
Aisleen Takeaway Night April 2011
Come Dine With Me Take Away Night 
Breast cancer survivor Aisleen Clenaghan held a Pretty n Pink themed Come Dine With Me Takeaway Night from her weekend holiday home caravan site. Aisleen served a manu of her home cooked culinary delights to fellow holiday makers and raised £1067 on the night for Pretty n Pink. 
Flatliners Rock Night for Pretty n Pink 
Flatliners Motorcycle Club held a 'Rock Night' at Bangor Football Club to help support Pretty n Pink while a members daughter was undergoing treatment for breast cancer. With music supplied by the Voodoo Baptists, and the proceeds of the raffle donated to Pretty n Pink a great time was had by all and the event raised approximately £500 for the charity. 
Ladies Night Grand Opera House, Chartered Accountants, 2011
'Ladies Night' at The Baby Grand 
Chartered Accountants Ireland Ulster Society held a Ladies Night in The Baby Grand auditorium of the Grand Opera House. The night consisted of a drinks reception, food, and screening of the movie 'Legally Blonde'. The event was also used to raise awareness of Pretty n Pink, and proceeds from the raffle were donated to the charity
Molly Browns
'The Ultimate Fashion Show' at Molly Brown's 
Molly Brown's bar and live lounge hosted The Ultimate Fashion Show for Pretty n Pink showcasing the seasons fashion trends in both ladies and mens fashion wear, supported by local retailers and modelled by Molly Brown's staff, with all money raised going directly to Pretty n Pink. 
The event also included welcome drink upon arrival, delectable canapes prepared by Molly Brown's talented chefs, a disco, and various raffle prizes throughout the night, and raised over £1000 for Pretty n Pink. 
Millbrook Pamper Day  
Millbrook Community Centre, Larne was transformed into a spa treatment centre for the afternoon during the Community Association Pamper Day in an attept to raise funds for breast cancer. Treatments on the day included massage, indian head massage, reiki, with local craft and jewellery exhibitors also taking part in the event.  
Further money was also raised at coffee mornings and tea dances organised by Millbrook Silver Circle Club, with fundraising totalling £756.20 for Pretty n Pink.
