Dunnes Stores 'Pink Days' generate nearly £3,000 in aid of Pretty n Pink 
 
Dunnes Stores, Park Centre has raised £2,986 in total from hosting two fundraising days in aid of Northern Ireland's only dedicated Breast Cancer Charity Pretty n Pink. Dunnes Stores held the first event during October 2009, promoting 'Breast Cancer Awareness Month', raising £1136.00. Once again they held the event in 2010 raising another outstanding amount of £978.00. Fundraising is still on-going with buckets stationed at till points; with a further £872.00 collected, totalling nearly £3,000.  
Pretty n Pink founder and activist Noleen Adair stated that 'this is a wonderful contribution from such a wide known brand throughout the country...the money is a great help enabling the Charity to help achieve its aims in aiding breast cancer patients who are struggling financially with the disease, we can’t thank Dunnes Stores enough in raising such a magnificent amount'.
